Berlin, Germany, Das Metropoltheater - 21.10.1987. (Thanks Mick & Tillman)
Firstly a BIG thanks to Tillman for sending a copy of this gig from his own master cassette, from his own collection of personally recorded shows.
An excellent gig - one of the very few bootlegs in existence from PiL's European dates of 1987.
Recorded using a Sony TCD5M PRO recorder, the sound quality is fantastic, with just a little bit of tape hiss to add authenticity to the recording.
Upon receiving a cassette copy of the gig I immediately conducted a high quality digital transfer and created the artwork, presented here.
An extremely tight performance with a storming version of Public image. Religion is the only turkey of the evening.
After the closing bars of Holidays in the Sun Lydon tells the crowd: "One day you'll tell your grand children about this gig!"
