This is a tribute CD for the Sex Pistols this was released to celebrate 25yrs of Anarchy the 15 tracks are old and new Pistols tracks sung by various bands and solo singers + the Sex Pistols. This comes with very good artwork it has a open out sleeve that contains a 100 page colour booklet which has various Sex Pistols pictures. Th disc is a picture disc. (Thanks Ludde)

809 No 809 Los Exitos De Sex Pistols (Spain).

This is a CDR rip of a Spanish Sex Pistols tribute vinyl album. This is not the Sex Pistols playing and the sound is awful, the singer on some of the tracks is female. In a strange sort of way i enjoyed this. The artwork is very basic it comes in a plastic sleeve.

962 No 962 Never Mind the Sex Pistols Here's the Tribute.

This is an American tribute to the Sex Pistols, various American bands are playing Sex Pistols tracks in there own style, some of them do it very well the album has 17 tracks and comes with high quality artwork it has a 4 page fold out booklet and normal disc artwork the artwork is styled in the form of the US Never mind the Bollocks artwork. 1063 No 1063 God Save The Sex Pistols (Special Jubilee Tribute).

This is a Special jubilee Tribute to the Sex Pistols it contains some excellent recordings of Sex Pistols tracks by various British bands. This is a very high quality CD with very good artwork it comes with a 2 page booklet and great disc artwork, it also has a cardboard wrap around sleeve as well as the jewel case. (Thanks ebay).

1093 No 1093 Never Mind the Trossachs Here's the Scottish Sex Pistols. (German).

This is a silver CD of a very rare strange but enjoyable tribute to the sex Pistols it is from the Scottish Sex Pistols it is a collection of live tracks and small interviews. The live tracks were recorded in Berlin on the 8th May 1983 at White Wedding. The artwork is very good and I enjoyed the sound, as far as I can make out the Scottish Sex Pistols were not together long so only played a few gigs. A CDR was sent into the site by Jack Mccafferty, I found the silver CD version on German ebay.

1103 No 1103 Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sussex Pistols.

This is a tribute CD for the Sex Pistols from a band called the Sussex Pistols. I really enjoyed the CD the 1st two tracks are introduced by John Lydon. It seems the band did a cross of Sex Pistols and PIL numbers. The artwork is basic but good and comes with phone numbers and site addresses (which does not exist anymore) for booking the band. The lead singer from the band Jonny Edwards has been in touch and added some great info about the CD:

We recorded the first lot of songs (Anarchy, GSTQ, Vacant, Bodies, Swindle and Holidays) at Brickhouse studios in Brighton in 1998, and the rest in Eastbourne college in 1999.

The band formed in 1998, and lasted until 2002, playing many high profile shows. I moved onto Essex Pistols after it ended. then more Punk and rock bands, It is fun to note that Guitarist Aggro is now in Peter And The Test Tube Babies.

1104 No 1104 Holidays in the Sun - Sex Pistols tribute. (Argentine)

This is a very good CD from Argentina the recording is very high quality and i really enjoyed it. The CD comes with 22 tracks from Argentine bands some in English. The artwork is high qualty. This CD can easily be downloaded on the internet. (Thanks Soulseek)

1114 No 1114 Never mind the the Bhangra Opium Jukebox. (USA).

This is a CDR of a strange tribute it is not my kind of music but never the less a good addition to the site. It comes in a plastic sleeve and has basic but good artwork. (Thanks Soulseek).

Once upon a time, not so very long ago, there was a small music label called Invisible Records. They hosted all sorts of avant garde industrial acts, like Pigface and Meg Lee Chin and Sheep on Drugs. The music was difficult listening-the very antithesis to adult contemporary music-relying on backbeats and way too many mind-altering chemicals. Then something funny happened. The label's focus slowly drifted away from industrial into a weird sort of fuzzy space, motivated perhaps, by an entirely different variety of mind-altering chemicals. Martin Atkins, Julian Beeston, Bobdog Catlin, and Rahul Sharma got together and formed a bizarre band called Opium Jukebox. They wanted to do some mystical-sounding Indian music, but at the same time, didn't want to stray too far from their alternative music roots. What to do, what to do? They covered the Sex Pistols, of course! And thus Never Mind the Bhangra Here's the Opium Jukebox was born. Sid Vicious would almost certainly have barfed all over this CD. It is not true to the original "destroy everything" intent of the band. I think that's why it's so amusing. Never Mind the Bhangra comes across as a muzakked Ravi Shankar-sounding thing, with occasional elements of that Invisible sound I was talking about earlier. Only the barest bones of the original songs' melodies are retained. Everything else has been chewed up by a sitar and spit out onto a glistening, shiny CD. I think Opium Jukebox may have done for punk what Pat Boone did for heavy metal.

1135 No 1135 The Residuals Demo.

As far as I can make out as there is very little information around about this Sex Pistols tribute band, The Residuals were a Scottish (Denny)based band which were together for only a year from 1999-2000. the band was Peter Muffet on vocals, Hami on bass, Kev on drums and Sid on guitar. The Cd is a mixed demo of live and studio and some unfinished home recordings. I really enjoyed this CD it has some good music on it a shame they did not last long.

1136 No 1136 Sex Pistols Experience - Grim up North Tour.

This is a mixture of live tracks taken from the a tour the sex Pistols Experience completed in 2003 called the "Grim up North Tour" I think this was one of the last tours the SPE did before the new frontman took over. The music is just as good but the new singer/frontman Nathan makes all the difference. The CD comes with great artwork in a CD single jewel case. (Thanks SPE).

1143 No 1143 The Ukrainians - Anarchy in the UK (single).

This is a 4 track CD single from the Ukrainians it comes with great artwork  The Ukrainians grew out of a project started by 80s Indie darlings The Wedding Present. The group, at the instigation of guitarist Peter Solowka, decided to make one of their sessions for the BBC's John Peel Show a Ukrainian one! Peter's friend 'The Legendary Len' was drafted in as an extra member because he sang, played a scratchy, authentic village-sounding violin and was a student of Slavonic languages! The group recorded the first session and it was duly broadcast. Then Peel played it again...and again...and again! (Thanks Ebay).

1227 No 1027 Sex Presleys - God save the King.

Classics as The Sex Pistols would have played them! Hailing from San Francisco, California, The Sex Presleys are the bastard demon child of Las Vegas Elvis and a transgender Sex Pistols.  GOD SAVE THE KING!

 Somewhere an old punk whose had a sense of humour bypass will be screaming sacrilege, and in an apoplectic rage might even put his foot through his television set. ˜How dare they' he will say. 'The youth of this nation need protected from this filth' The sacrilegious filth in question will be San Francisco's The Sex Presleys who have released a six track work of genius in my opinion. By melding the songs of Elvis Presley and the Sex Pistols together they've managed to wobble a thin line between taking the piss and actually paying homage to the two legends. On first listen it comes across like a tongue in cheek slap down, but give it a few spins and the fun aspect is infectious. In fact there's a good chance that I would reach for this before 'Never mind the bollocks' as over the last thirty odd years I've done that album to death and a fresh take is always welcome. When you've stopped laughing and have a second and third run at it then it will all start to make sense. Go on. You know you wanna. Fuck the po-faced punks and give in to some SEX PRESLEYS.

This is a promo 2 track CD single from a band called "Hayseed Dixie" the 2nd track is a version of Holidays in the Sun I do like these recordings they play the Sex Pistols very well. The artwork is very high quality. These tracks are taken from the album "Weapons of Grass Destruction"

1333 No 1333 Green Jelly. Anarchy in the UK.

This is a 3 track CD single from a band called Green Jelly. The 1st track is a sort of a cover of Anarchy in the UK. The single is taken from the album "Serial Killer"

This is a Ex Pistols recording that was released to cash in on the fame of the Sex Pistols.This is the Japanese version complete with an OBI.

This is a very strange copy of the Never mind the bollocks its a complete recording of the Bollocks but the band atichoke playing there versions of each of the tracks. Artichoke are an American band from Los Angeles.

Some strange sounding music but not hidious. comes with decent artwork.

This is a 4 track CD from the Sex Pistols tribute band the Sex Presleys. It comes with 4 tracks and good artwork.

This is a tribute CD for the Sex Pistols and the Damned a good quality CD with good artwork.

Another very strange Cd from The Roma Music Group this time Never mind the Bollocks tracks played to Lullaby tunes. This again comes with very basic artwork and for novalty value only.

1581 No 1581 Music Box Mania - Music Box versions of Sex Pistols Never Mind the Bollocks. (USA).

This is a very strange version of Never Mind the Bollocks the tracks play to Music box music. Very strange with very basic artwork. Well done to me for lasting one and half tracks before turning it off.

1614 No 1614 Sex Pistols Experience Anarchy in the E.U.

This is a very high quality recording from the Sex Pistols tribute band the Sex Pistols Experience this was given to me by the drummer Dave to add to the collection as i did not have one. This is a live recording and has fantastic quality artwork. Thanks Dave and the guys. A nicer set of guys you could not meet.
