Leicester, UK, De Montfort Hall - 20.5.1986.  (Thanks Mick & Richard)

This bootleg opens with a minute or so of house music before the band launch into an excellent Kashmir.

This tape was obtained from an old PiL friend of mine who bought it during the summer of '86, within a few weeks of the gig, along with a few others from the tour, so it's a very low gen recording, a lot better than some copies that I've heard over the years.

It's obvious from the first verse of FFF that Lydon is genuinely as ill as he warns the crowd he is during Kashmir.

Despite being ill the crowd still shower him with gob, although Lydon is ready with the remarks, calling them "cheap scum!" and "fucking rank amateurs!"

It's a fantastic show to listen to. Probably the closest to a soundboard quality recording that you'll get from the UK tour.

There is a cut between Public image and Rise.
