Birmingham, UK, Odeon Theatre - 13.11.1983. (Thanks Mick)
This was the first of PiL's two winter visits to Birmingham. The second date was also bootlegged.
This gig is out there on both cassette and CDR. Thankfully the transition between tracks on the CDR is completely seamless, which is as surprising as it is welcome.
Definitely an audience recording and one of the better bootlegs from the '83 tour. The bass seems very prominent, while also being more deep than twangy.
Lydon is in hostile mode tonight; "Good night - you have been interesting but extremely dull! The exits are clearly marked!"
There is a cut between Anarchy and This is Not a Love Song.
