Glasgow, Scotland, Apollo Theatre - 16.11.1983. (Thanks Mick & Kevin)
Judging from the sound of it Glasgow was probably the largest attended gig on the tour, although this could just be the tape playing tricks.
The quality improves considerably during Low Life and thankfully remains that way throughout.
This is probably my favourite recording from the '83 tour as it seems a bit more rough and raw than the other bootlegs available. Whether this is due to the good acoustics of the Apollo, or the band themselves is uncertain, but it's a damn fine performance.
The tape is fantastic with regard to quality!
The original cassette version that I had of this gig was really quite poor quality and had an unbelievable amount of tape hiss. I recently received an upgrade of the gig, which is a million times better although it is missing the final encore, Attack! (The old, poorer quality version is complete however!)
This may have been the only time on this tour that Flowers of Romance was performed as an ecnore.
There is a cut between Chant and Anarchy.
There is a cut between Anarchy and This is Not a Love Song.
