Frankfurt, Germany, Bürgerhaus Nied - 1.6.1986. (Thanks Mick)
The most unfortunate thing about this bootleg is the inferior sound quality, which is a tragedy when compared to the Hamburg show of a few days later. Performance wise the band seem to have a good night and play the regular set minus 4 Enclosed Walls, although they do pull off a partciularly strong version of the ever amazing Banging the Door which has to be a show high-light. The crowd seem pretty torpid until about the midway point when they seem to come to life a little.
It must be said though that the quality does improve considerably throughout the set.
This also seems to be one of the very few gigs from this tour where Lydon doesn't suffer the usual problems of cliched punks gobbing at him. There is absolutely no mention of spitting from Lydon at all!
The recording ends after Annalisa, although there is nothing to suggest that it is incomplete. Several bootlegs from the tour also end after Annalisa, so...
There is a cut after Public image, after which the first verse of Rise fades in, the beginning of the song being missing
This recording is pretty much a rarity. I've never seen it on any trading lists.
