London, UK, Kilburn National Hall - 3.11.1987. (Thanks Mick)
Like the gig in Chippenham a few months earlier, this recording is incomplete. It ends after Public image, although it is almost certain that Holidays in the Sun and This is Not a Love Song were performed. Possibly Religion also.
Rise is introduced an "An oldie but goldie!", despite that fact that it was only 2 years old by this point.
FFF is false started, which is the only real mistake of the night. It's a fine, strong performance and a real credit to the music.
My major gripe with this bootleg is that there is a particularly irritating female attendee whom, during the performance feels the need to have a chat, so we have to listen to her irritatingly high voice yap on for a while.
All in all the quality is great, although a bit boomy in places. The bass is extremely prominent which is great, but it also the reason for said boominess.
The beginning of Rules & Regulations is missing. Also, during Rules & Regulations there is a drop in quality which doesn't imrpove again until the end of Fat Chance Hotel. When it does improve though it's better than before. The quality then makes a second improvement during World Destruction, bringing it into the category of excellent!
The first verse of Fat Chance Hotel is instrumental, as Lydon doesn't come in at the right time...
There is a cut between Home and Rules & Regulations.
There is a cut between Rules & Regulations and Bags.
