Oslo, Norway, Rockefeller Music Hall - 10.8.1987. (Thanks Mick & Kristian)
A very good quality bootleg of one of PiL's first shows of 1987.
The chap from whom I obtained this bootleg (a Norwegian) had no details other than what was written on the box of the tape.
After the final song Lydon says; "That's all we're allowed, now goodnight!" which makes me wonder whether this show was either a support slot or an indoor festival appearance. I am inclined to lean towards some kind of indoor festival show because the setlist seems too long to have been a support slot and PiL's previous 5 gigs that week had also been festival appearances, so this must have been another.
It's a very clear recording and a welcome addition, considering how few bootlegs are available from 1987.
During Rules & Regulations Lydon comments "Stone me, you're almost as laid back as the Dutch!" which gets a huge cheer from the crowd.
There is a cut between Round and FFF.
There is a cut between Holidays in the Sun and This is Not a Love Song.
