Dallas, TX, Arcadia Theatre - 12.7.1986. (Thanks Mick & a BIG thanks to Christopher!
The gentleman whom sent me this recording recorded it himself and kindly sent me the original cassette (!) for only the price of postage!
The first song, Kashmir, is missing from the recording due to the fact that my contact did not realise that the band on the stage were Public image! He thought they were a support act. An easy mistake to make though, considering that Lydon did not make his appearance until the end of the Led Zeppelin cover.
Chris, the guy who sent the recording had this to say; "... frankly it wasn't that great a show and I don't remmeber (sic) a lot about it. They came back to Dallas a few years later but after the first show I didnt bother going to the second."
He also gave a little information about the venue; The Arcadia Theatre was a small movie theatre on Greenville Avenue in Downtown Dallas that also regularly hosted live music acts. It later became a drinking club and recently burned down and was demolished.
The original master cassette was in great condition, owing the fact that it has only been played a few times (if even) and never copied! I recently made a high-end digital transfer of the tape to CD and created artwork, which I humbly present here...
