Bristol, Hippodrome - 25.5.1986   (Thanks to Mick)

"You mean there's life in Bristol after all?"

The cassette copy that I had of this gig listed it as being the Colston Hall as opposed to the Hippodrome. Bootleg posters from the time also list it as Colston Hall although official promotional adverts from the music papers advertise it as the Hippordrome, so that's good enough for me.

Lydon's first words as he enters the stage are "Do not spit!"

For some reason he also bursts into laughter on the first verse of Fishing, then apologises to the crowd for it.

He also has a fun time teasing the crowd about their city and their football team.

The recording ends very abruptly after Annalisa, although I am assuming that it is complete.

This is the first time on the album tour that PiL played The Order of Death, which is often mis-labeled on tracklists as Bad Life.

There is a brief cut during Fishing.

There is a brief cut during Flowers of Romance.
